Coming straight out of the Age of Aquarius, the new video for The Bravery's song, "Slow Poison" uses psychedelic astro-visuals to create a piece that is lightyears from anything I've seen in a long time. One of my favorite videos of the year.

This has to be one of my favorite posters this year. The new poster for Terry Gilliam's Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus is amazingly surreal and modern at the same time. There are so many wonderful elements in this piece from the candyland above the title treatment to the jellyfish underneath the platform. Very original and inspiring.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.davidirlanda.com/journal/2009/9/21/unused-moon-posters.html"><rss:title>Unused 'Moon' Posters</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.davidirlanda.com/journal/2009/9/21/unused-moon-posters.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject>Art & Design Movie Design</dc:subject>

'Moon' was one of my favorite movies from last year (along with 'Bronson' and 'Star Trek'). I love the poster for it as well. Here we get to see unused posters that are really well done too. I love the crystal ball version, implying that Sam Rockwell's character is imprisoned on the moon.
